I followed the procedure of phoning 111 and talking with a couple of people before being referred to the walk in centre. Once booked in, I was seen within about 10 minutes and left the unit some 3 hour later. Apart from the level of care received, I was impressed by the speed of the process.
I would say that my only small issue would be that the blood pressure machine was pretty painful as it increases the pressure on my arm. A number of different units were tried, but all were either as bad or seemed to have some issue with them. There was no "old style" unit available which may have offered a less aggressive approach.

Well explained step by step.
Much more comfortable than expected.
Appreciated option for throat spray and sedation only if necessary - it wasn't.
Lots of burping - I kept relaxed and let it go - not instructed - others might refrain from burping - more discomfort.
I wasn't sure if OK to swallow.
Not at all like internet stories of gagging.
Did not feel it in my stomach.
